Recreate the lesson image using the colors as described below. With a free, even stroke, wash in the sky, making it even and as smooth as possible. With a heavier stroke, wash in the land part, and then with a still heavier stroke, wash in the cabin and tree. The plan is to make the sky a light even wash, the ground a heavier wash, and the cabin and tree a heavier wash. Add a puff of smoke escaping the chimney if you wish.
Leaving the sky the color of the paper, wash in the land, cabin, and tree entirely with black.
Place a strong wash of yellow over the whole sky, tree, and ground. Color the tree, cabin and ground with violet.
Place a strong wash of orange over the whole picture. With the blue, mark in the cabin and ground and then add the tree. Make the ground, cabin, and tree dark.
Place a light wash of blue over the whole picture. Color in the tree, cabin and ground with brown.
Place a light wash of blue over the sky. Add a strong wash of orange over the tree, cabin, and ground. Use blue to color the tree, add the details to the cabin, and color the ground.
